There are ever-expanding resources on the web that deal with grief, loss and trauma in childhood. Here's a list of some we found to be especially helpful:
- www.americanhospice.org - excellent handouts; a great article on writing a condolence note to aggrieving child or adolescent
- www.beyondindigo.com - Offers broad content, especially articles about grief from well-respected journals; Also has a chat room, which we did not explore
- www.batesville.com - publishes "The Helping Series", a set of brochures that offer specific assistance for various types of death
- www.centeringcorp.com - an excellent publishing house with access to a grief digest and journal
- www.compassionbooks.com - annotated list of books for purchase dealing with all types of deaths and including a specific section for teachers 7 schools
- cfw.tufts.edu - the child & family web guide from Tufts University provides links to other grief-related sites
- www.dougy.org - a well-known and well-respected center for grieving children and families, website includes publications as well as information
- www.familymanagement.com - includes excellent article on children and grief that is also available in Spanish
- www.nmha.org/index.cfm - National Mental Health Association web site, nice short handout on grief as well as links to other relevant sites

- smhp.psych.ucla.edu - UCLA School Mental Health Project with lots of resources including downloadable power point presentations on children and grief
